I've been using this malt for years. It always crushes perfectly, gives predictable results, and lends a depth to the beer that you just can't find in other base malts. Perfect for porters.
Adds Great Complexity
I usually use American 2-row, but decided to try Maris Otter for my pale ale. The difference is noticeable! It added pleasant biscuit notes. A bit more expensive, so 4 stars, but the flavor is a solid 5.
